A new Civil Emergency Measures Health Protection Order was issued by the Government of Yukon on April 2, 2020. This means:
- all individuals entering Yukon must self-isolate for 14 days;
- all individuals must provide a signed declaration upon entry to Yukon;
- critical service providers may in some cases provide a critical service without having self-isolated for 14 days;
- non-residents transiting through Yukon must exit within 24 hours after entry; and
- individuals entering Yukon from the British Columbia communities of Atlin Fire Side, Pleasant Camp, Fraser and Jade City are not required to self-isolate.
Accompanying the the Order, the territorial government also released new guidelines for the delivery of critical, essential and other services, including measures employers and employees must take to reduce the spread of COVID-19 throughout Yukon while maintaining critical, essential and other services.
