Vaccine Questions or Concerns?
Ross River Dena Council encourages community members to ask lots of questions and to make informed decisions as we work to Keep Ross River Safe in 2021. If you have questions, here are some upcoming opportunities to ask an expert about the COVID-19 vaccine in advance of the April 8 clinic:
- If you have a personal health-related question (i.e. is the vaccine safe for me?), please contact a community nurse at the Ross River Health Centre by calling 969-4444;
- Visit www.yukon.ca/en/covid-19-information for the latest updates and frequently asked questions;
- Visit the COVID-19 Information page on www.rossriverdenacouncil.com to learn more about the vaccine and the upcoming clinic.
How Council is Supporting Community Members in Self-Isolation
Anyone who is traveling outside of Yukon must follow the COVID-19 Guidelines, which means you must self-isolate for 14 days upon returning to the territory. If you are self-isolating in Ross River, please notify the COVID-19 Action Plan Working Group by calling the Ross River COVID-19 Support Line at 747-0099 or email to [email protected] and we can assist with grocery shopping and other tasks.
For the safety of the community, please do not visit with others, do not go to work, do not invite others into your home, and do not visit the store while you are self-isolating. If you experience any symptoms, even minor symptoms, please stay in your home and contact the Ross River Health Centre at 969-4444.
